Pastor Jay C. Gregory is the Senior Pastor of Faith Covenant Fellowship and the devoted husband of E'dee Gregory. In 1982, before they were married, they received the revelation of Jesus Christ and accepted him as their personal Savior. In that same year, Jay & E'dee united with a church in Detroit, Michigan where they were joined in holy matrimony. They were later blessed with two children—Christina & James.
While members of that church, Jay Gregory served as a member of the Executive Board; more than a conqueror teacher; coordinator of Friday Night Services; instructor of the New Testament Survey Class in the church's Bible Institute; director of the financial department and chairman of the Deacon board. Known for his teaching ability, Rev. Gregory has taught and preached in many churches.
In 1986 God called Jay Gregory to the ministry and he was later ordained a Minister of the Gospel. His hunger and thirst for God's word grew even more which led him to attend Word of Faith School of Ministry. Rev. Gregory made the Dean's list and graduated with honors on May 17, 1991.
In 1993 God called Reverend Jay Gregory--and his wife E'dee (who is also a minister) to the Pastoral office. In that same year, they were ordained, in an ordination service, by Bishop Keith Butler, Pastor of Word of Faith Christian International Center in Southfield Michigan. On August 8, 1993, (under God's instruction and direction) Pastors Jay & E'dee (as they are affectionately called) started Faith Covenant Fellowship church. God is "good" and the church has grown tremendously.
