(Dance Ministry)
In the Bible dance is an energetic expression of faith and joy. Miriam, sister of Moses, led the Hebrews in a victory dance when they crossed the Red Sea. Tamborines in hand and bodies spinning in circles, they gave thanks to God.
The best expression of spiritual dancing begins in the heart. It expresses to God with your body your deepest feelings of joy, gratitude, despair, or pain. The Lively Stones message is to inspire, minister and touch the deepest emotions of their audience in "anointed" movement/worship. God's Love is the purpose of The Lively Stones dance ministry.
The forensic group is a public speaking group. All speeches are bible related. This group is very unique & anointed in their delivery.
This group ministers with their body, soul, and spirit. (All of our being is equipped to praise.) The true art of mime finds its essence in the breath of life and all things that have breath praise the Lord. In the book of Hosea (12:10) parables were acted out and demonstrated. Mime use make-up to show expression on their faces.
This youth group expresses much of their dance in a warfare manner (Psalms 144:1; 18:34) you know that dance first belonged to us (God's people), we've taken it back!! The Step Group dance with power and authority, and God's love is evident in every move.
It is important for children & youth to become involved in Christian service, and build their relationship with God. We see our children & youth making a difference in the world, and right now the world needs a lot of change. The more children & youth get together in Christian mission and service, the more they will make a future for themselves and others. This is the purpose ofFCF's Children & Youth ministry. Here at FCF the children & youth church is in full swing every Sunday.
The Men in Touch come together once every other month. There are many joyous fellowships in our lives. But none exceeds that of a group of men of like mind & spirit. They fill many roles in the church—and every phase of their service is important to us. I Samuel (10:26) speaks of "a band of men, whose hearts God had touched." It is such men through the ages who have been used of God in gigantic spiritual enterprises. There is nothing good that God cannot do through men of like dedication. "The company of just and righteous men is far better than wealth and a rich estate.
The Women in Touch – WIT fellowships are a joy indeed. One can scarcely imagine and occasion more greatly blessed with joy than this, when women can come together and enjoy each other in fellowship together. If there is one word which above all others describes the atmosphere of these fellowships, that word is Love. The beauty of the Lord is upon the Women in Touch; they are truly growing into His likeness and developing in His service.
The FCF teen ministry is made up of junior & senior high individuals. In this ministry the teens are trained to be leaders in the life of the church and their personal lives. Our church is very much aware of the great treasure that God has placed in our young people; and of our responsibility and opportunity to plant in their hearts the truths of the Bible, which will guide their footsteps along the road of life. FCF's purpose is to lead, mentor and help them become the men and women who will bless the world.
